Portsmouth Harbour SSSI Adventures

Portsmouth Harbour SSSI comprises a protected stretch of coastal wetlands encompassing intertidal mudflats, saltmarshes, and estuarine waters located in Hampshire on the southern coast of England. Covering part of the eastern approach to Portsmouth, this Site of Special Scientific Interest preserves habitats critical for numerous migratory and overwintering waterfowl, including nationally important populations of waders and wildfowl such as oystercatchers, shelduck, and grey plovers.
